Vay-Cays is a family run and orientated company which has been launched by people who are genuinely passionate about providing a cost effective, efficient and friendly service to maximise your income through holiday home letting. Our ethos from feedback from our clients is, ‘Your holiday property, your guests, your way!’ and as such we endeavour to work closely with each of our owners to build the perfect package for you. We work closely with our well established sister company, ‘the Cleaning fairy’ to ensure that we can accommodate the best prices for your maintenance and changeover and hire linen services. We know how holiday accommodation works and the things to please your guests to keep them returning again and again.

What Services Can Vay-Cays Provide?
Each of our properties is as individual as its owners, because of this it would be un-realistic to expect all our clients to mould into the same package. We can offer services starting from merely advertising your property, to full management where we arrange cleaning, maintenance and safety certificates for you at really competitive prices, using local trusted tradesmen. How much will it cost to advertise my property through Vay-Cays?
As a new company we are able to offer the most competitive rates locally. We are not VAT registered meaning the price we advertise truly is the price you pay. Our basic package starts from just £59 annually.
What happens when a booking is made?
In order to reserve a stay at your property, Vay-Cays will require a holding deposit from the guest. This fee will be paid to you, minus our fees. Final Payment will be paid to you upon arrival of your guests.
What happens in the event of a Cancellation?
In the event of cancellation, we will endeavour to find new guests for you – should the cancellation be made within 8 weeks of the booking, the guests will be liable to pay 50% of the total booking cost including booking fee, of which should the property fail to re-let you will receive. should the guests cancel within 4 weeks of the booking they will not be entitled to any refund and should the property not be re-let you will receive 100% of the booking – (minus booking fees).
Provided that the guest pay the full balance on time, they can receive (less traveller booking fee):
a 50% refund of the total amount paid by the cancellation date if they cancel at least eight weeks before check-in.
a 25% refund of the total amount paid by the cancellation date if they cancel at least four weeks before check-in.
* Please note the above policies are subject to the following:
- All guests may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours after their booking is confirmed, provided their stay is at least 60 days away.
- If any guest cancels after this cooling-off period, they will be liable for the traveller booking fee.
When can you use the property?
Our ethos is ‘Your property, your guests, your way’ means that we do not stipulate a minimum number of weeks that your property must be available for letting. All we ask is that you inform us immediately should you decide to make an owner’s booking, so that we can change our calendar accordingly.
Unlike other agencies, we do not forbid private bookings at the property. What we do ask is that you keep us informed if you do make a private booking and that you refrain from using any other property management company or websites other than those privately owned by yourself.

Every management package that we offer is completely bespoke. We work with our owners implicitly to ensure that your property remains exactly that – your property. We do not require you to make any changes that you do not wish to make or to give up your right to visit your property for excessive amounts of time. We will however work with you to find ways to maximise the profit that you can make by ensuring that all safety measures and legalities are met.
